Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes insists the team must focus on their own performance. Because in the past they are often compare to other teams.
Bruno sits at a press conference with boss Erik ten Hag ahead of Thursday’s Europa League visit to Omonia Nicosia. The Portuguese midfielder has confirmed this season that Manchester United must focus on their own team only.
“We are not focusing on other teams. We focus on ourselves,” said Bruno.
“That was a problem for the ufabet club in the past years. that we want to compare ourselves with other teams But we can’t.”
“We have to look at ourselves. and look at the problem and what we can improve We can’t think of Arsenal, think of Liverpool or any other team, we just have to win every game in our hands.
“We saw our own mistakes in that defeat (at Manchester City), we have to make sure we don’t do that again. It was a bad game, we conceded six goals but we have to get back on the winning path.”
The Reds did respond in the second period with a strike from Antony and a double for Anthony Martial, but the damage was done by Erling Haaland and Phil Foden’s hat-tricks.
Our Portuguese midfielder felt that a failure to show the same determination displayed before the international break allowed City to dominate the game in the first half.
